About Prof. Dr. Swantje Köbsell:
Studium der Behindertenpädagogik, Aktivistin der emanzipatorischen Behindertenbewegung, Mitgründerin und Mitarbeiterin der Beratungsstelle Selbstbestimmt Leben e. V. sowie der Assistenzgenossenschaft Bremen. 2010 Promotion, 2014-2021 Professorin für Disability Studies an der Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin, lehrt 2021 seit im Bereich Inklusive Pädagogik an der Universität Bremen. Mitglied des wissenschaftlichen Beirats der Teilhabeberichte der Bundesregierung 2013, 2016, 2021. Veröffentlichungen zu Disability Studies, intersektionale Aspekte von Behinderung (Behinderung & Geschlecht/ Migration/Flucht), Eugenik/Bioethik.

About the series:
The “Gender & Diversity Lunch” series invites all members of the CRC “Media of Cooperation” and “Transformations of the Popular” to an exchange on current topics and issues in the fields of gender equality, diversity and the compatibility of family and science. The goal of the series is to facilitate networking between CRC members and individuals from different fields and with different biographical experiences. A guest on a particular topic is invited to each event. The series is held at lunchtime, including a snack. Suggestions for topics and guests are always welcome.
