Der Artikel beschäftigt sich mit Text-Bild-Rela­tionen in zwei Kurz­geschichten von Vicki Baum und Ruth Landshoff-Yorck in den Zeit­schriften Die Dame und Vogue sowie dem Zusammen­hang illus­trierter Unter­haltungs­magazine (als Medien­kombi­nation) mit den selbst­ständigen Publika­tionen Pariser Platz von Vicki Baum und Die Vielen und der Eine von Ruth Landshoff-Yorck. Die inter­medialen Relationen werden als para­textuelle (peri- und epitex­tuelle) Phäno­mene in den Blick genommen, um eine dem Paratext­modell mehr oder weniger explizit inhärente Hier­archi­sierung der Text­elemente für die Analyse des Korpus theore­tisch und heuristisch fruchtbar zu machen.

The essay examines text–image relations in two short stories by Vicki Baum and Ruth Landshoff-Yorck published in the maga­zines Die Dame and Vogue, as well as the connec­tion between illustrated enter­tain­ment maga­zines (as media combina­tions) and the indepen­dent publi­cations Pariser Platz by Baum and Die Vielen und der Eine by Landshoff-Yorck. The inter­medial relations are considered as para­textual (peri- and epitextual) pheno­mena in order to make the hierarchy of textual elements more or less explicitly inherent in the paratext model theore­tically and heuris­tically productive for the analysis of the corpus.
