Lisa Gerzen is a research associate and doctoral candidate at the University of Siegen. Coming from a background of media and cultural studies, she is mainly interested in the history of websites and platforms, related communities and their practices and in digital methods. In 2017, she conceptualized a teaching project about “Media practices of confession” together with Lena Teigeler. In the same year, the project was followed up by the “Digital Methods Lab”, which was sponsored by and established at the University of Siegen. For her master thesis, Lisa Gerzen researched the role of interview methods in media history and historiography.
